It is actually a friends laptop and they asked me to look at it before they took it to the big-box retailer they bought it from who has a terrible comp dept. Sherry January 26, Hey man, cfn a ton! All were dead even the fan. Make sure all pins inside the connector are straight. Try blowing air into the fan grill on the bottom and side, this should remove most dust from the cooling module.
