G73jh ALCOR Multi Card Reader issue
Any help or suggestions are most welcome. Uninstalled and re-installed the card reader software: Login [x] Log in using an account from: Guys, for me the Genesys driver exhibited the same behavior, and I found that if I inserted the SD card, then ejected it, and inserted it one more time, the SD card would mount.

Readef is a working solution – it solved my problem so thanks again: I suppose this is because the process is shortcircuited by the “vendor specific class” designation.
However, in device manager I don’t see anything that looks like a card reader. Add an attachment proposed patch, testcase, etc. I have the same problem and it seems none have a solution to this issue Comment 5 Rudd-O DragonFear My hardware worked in crd fall but come spring the card reader did not.

I still have to use the old touch pad driver for mine to work correctly. I think I got a solution Inserted a known good SD card into the reader and readre happened. Unfortunately the storage device is not recognized as a mass storage device, and load up usb-storage to handle the device.
